The new floor coating is set up for high bonding potential.
The concrete substance is diamond-ground so that the existing substrate will offer a proper adhesive surface for a strong bond.
Flaws that exist in the concrete and repaired, irregular areas and/or joints are patched using epoxy mortar, poly-urea or urethane cement, and then all of that is blended with hand diamond grinders.
A concrete vapor control (CVC) primer or a similar type of penetrating epoxy primer is added, after which a coat of 100% solid epoxy goes on.
After this first broadcast coat is laid down, chips are placed until the broadcast coat is completely covered.
One or two clear topcoats will then be applied. This offers scratch resistance and UV stability for the environment.
